What have you done to finance fertility treatments?

My husband and I found out we have fertility issues about two years ago. We have been struggling to come up with a way to finance this burden and not get into debt. What have you guys been doing since most insurance companys do not cover it?

We saved money for 2 years and worked every odd job we could think of. We also took out a loan from my parents. Others we know had garage sales and bake sales to raise money. Also, research different clinics. We found one that did it for considerably less than others.
